Jonas Dornbach (born February 7, 1978 in Ruhstorf an der Rott ) is a German film producer and managing director of the company Kompressions Film .

Life

Jonas Dornbach grew up in Perugia, Italy. After graduating from high school, he worked in various film productions in Munich before he was permanently employed by kinoherz @ lounge in 2000. From 2002 to 2009 he was managing director of his own company Kinoherz in Berlin. From 2002 to 2006 he studied production at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). He completed his studies in 2006 with the feature film “Playing it safe?” Directed by David Dietl. The film was awarded the Studio Hamburg Prize 2008 in the Best Feature Film category. In 2007 he completed the EAVE training for European producers (media program). He works with directors such as Maren Ade, Sonja Heiss, Miguel Gomes, Baraba Albert, Hans Weingartner and Vanessa Jopp. Since September 2010, Jonas Dornbach has been a permanent member of the producer at Accomplizen Film and part of the International Producers Network ACE (Ateliers du Cinéma Européen).
