Jonas Høgh-Christensen (born May 21, 1981 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish sailor .

successes

Jonas Høgh-Christensen took part in four Olympic Games in the Finn-Dinghy boat class . In 2004 in Athens he finished ninth, four years later in Beijing he improved to sixth. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 , he led the overall standings after ten races, but fell behind Ben Ainslie after the medal race , who finished the last race one place ahead of Høgh-Christensen. As a runner-up he received the silver medal. He finished the 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro in 16th place. At the World Championships , Høgh-Christensen won the title in 2006 in Split and in 2009 in Vallensbæk Kommune . He also won bronze in 2008 and 2012 and silver in 2016.

His father Jens Christensen competed in the 1980 Olympic sailing regatta.
