Jonas Thümmler (born August 21, 1993 in Berlin ) is a German handball player .
Career
Jonas Thümmler started handball at the age of five. He played at SC Eintracht Berlin until 2009, then moved to Füchsen Berlin . On December 11, 2011, Thümmler made his debut in the Bundesliga team of Füchse Berlin against TV Großwallstadt . For the 2012/13 season, the 1.92 meter tall circle runner received a contract with the Füchsen for the Bundesliga team, but then only played for the second team in the 3rd division . In November 2012 he received a double right to play and in the 2012/13 season he also played for VfL Bad Schwartau in the second division . In 2014 he won the DHB Cup with the Foxes . In December 2014 he moved to HC Erlangen . He has been playing for the second division HC Elbflorenz since the 2019/20 season .
Thümmler was part of the squad of the German junior national team, for which he played four internationals in which he scored three goals.
