Jonas Toboll (born June 10, 1987 in Hamburg ) is a former German soccer player . The goalkeeper has played for VfB Lübeck since summer 2011 .

Career

Toboll played for SV Werder Bremen until 2005 . Then he moved to the upper division Rotenburger SV . In January 2008 he went to the Regionalliga Nord to Kickers Emden . In Emden, however, he was only a substitute goalkeeper and played only one competitive game in the next year and a half. After the Emden relegation from the third division in 2009, he was without a club until January 2010. Then he played for half a year for SV Drochtersen / Assel . In the 2010/11 season he played for the regional division FC Oberneuland, which was relegated that season. Toboll has been the regular goalkeeper at VfB Lübeck since summer 2011. Even after the club went bankrupt in 2013, he remained loyal to the club. His contract with VfB Lübeck runs until June 30, 2016, at the end of March 2016 he extended it for a further year to June 30, 2017. Toboll has already played over 150 games for VfB Lübeck. Toboll will end his career at VfB Lübeck in the summer of 2017 because he wants to reorient himself professionally.
