Jonas Wolff
Jonas Wolff (also: Wolf , * in the 17th century; † [buried August 30] 1680 in Munich ) was a German painter .
Jonas Wolf was the son of the bricklayer Matthäus Wolf, who died in Munich in 1663, and the father of the painter Andreas Wolff . He is first mentioned in 1641 and master in Munich in 1644. In 1680 he worked with Simon Prugger on the paintings of the imperial court of the Munich residence . The only surviving panel painting by Wolf is an altar panel in the church of the Tegernsee monastery depicting the martyrdom of St. Veit .
