Jonathan Goldsmith is a Canadian composer and music producer .

Life

Jonathan Goldsmith has worked as a film composer since composing for the 1982 Canadian horror film The Horror Hospital . A year later he was nominated for a Genie Award as best composer for this music . Three more nominations should follow by 2011. For the Canadian Gemini Award , Goldsmith was nominated 14 times for best composer, receiving four awards, including when the moon becomes the sun and Dead Silence - Flames in Silence .

Goldsmith also works as a music producer in parallel to his film compositions. He has produced several albums with musicians such as Bruce Cockburn , Hugh Marsh , Michael Occhipinti and Arraymusic .
