Jonathan Riley-Smith
Jonathan Riley-Smith (born June 27, 1938 in Harrogate , North Yorkshire , † September 13, 2016 ) GCStJ was an English historian.
Life
He was Professor of Church History at Cambridge University and Fellow of Emmanuel College . He was considered one of the most renowned historians in the field of the Crusades .
