Keats made his debut in 2000 with an installation at the Refusalon gallery in San Francisco , where he sat in a chair and thought for 24 hours while a naked model was seen in the anteroom. His thoughts were sold as works of art to sponsors for the price of their annual income, scaled down to one minute. In 2002 he made a name for itself with a petition in the California city of Berkeley , with the intention of making the principle of identity in logic, which says that a thing has the same identity as itself (A = A), into law, and that Failure to comply should result in a one-tenth of a cent penalty.

In 2003, he copyrighted his brain , arguing that it was a sculpture that he had created through the act of thinking. As he later claimed, if one followed the Cogito sentence ("I think, therefore I am") , he should become temporarily immortal for the 70 years that the copyright for a work guaranteed him after his death .

In 2004 he began his best-known project to date: the attempt, carried out with geneticists from a college in Berkeley, to genetically reproduce God . In interviews he claimed that his experiments had shown that God was related to the cyanobacteria . In 2005 he developed a system to adjust the metric system individually to certain people by converting the time units to the individual heartbeat rhythm and deriving mathematical units such as meters , liters , kilograms and calories from them. In the same year he recorded signals received by a Puerto Rican observatory and on this basis developed the first exhibition of intergalactic art in the Judah L. Magnes Museum in Berkeley, where he himself sent his own drawings into space.

Out of his projects carried out in 2006, the attempt to move cypress trees to create works of art by equipping them with an easel, as well as his reverse engineering choreographed ballet for honey bees , which he achieved by selective planting of different types of flowers, stand out . He also applied string theory to the real estate market in an exhibition at the Modernism Gallery in San Francisco by offering properties for sale in the dimensions predicted by this theory.

In 2007 he developed a ringtone based on the music of John Cage's work 4'33 . In the same year he made a porn film for plants, through which they should be sexually aroused.
