The Jones Peak is a largely ice-free and 3670 m high mountain peaks in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises at the head of the DeGanahl Glacier and 8 km west-northwest of Mount Fisher in the Prince Olav Mountains .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after John M. Jones, a member of the Polar Research Committee of the National Academy of Sciences between 1957 and 1963.
