Joolz Denby

Joolz Denby (born Julianne Mumford on April 9, 1955 in Colchester , Essex ) is an English poet and artist. In the early days of her career she made a name for herself in the punk scene in England. Over the years she has repeatedly combined so -called spoken words poetry with musical elements. B. in the folk formation Red Sky Coven .

In addition to poems, short stories and novellas, Denby also made a name for herself as an artist. So she is u. a. responsible for the artwork of all covers of the band New Model Army .

Denby lives with Justin Sullivan in Bradford , Yorkshire .
