Jordan Chipangama

Jordan Chipangama (born November 12, 1988 ) is a Zambian long-distance runner who specializes in road running.

In 2013 he won the Lost Dutchman Marathon and set a national record in seventh place in the Grandma's Marathon with 2:13:08. At the marathon of the World Athletics Championships in Moscow , he came in 29th place.

The following year he finished fourth in the River Bank Run and fourth in the Grandma's Marathon , beating his record to 2:12:22 h and finishing second in the California International Marathon .

2015 he won the Phoenix marathon and half-marathon competition of the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon . A third place in the Grandma's Marathon with a national record time of 2:11:35 h was followed by a victory in the San José Half Marathon .

doping

Because of doping , Chipangama has been disqualified by the World Athletics Federation ( IAAF ) since June 17, 2017 and banned for four years from August 15, 2017 to August 14, 2021.
