The Jordan River is a river in the southeast of the Australian state of Tasmania .

geography

River course

The river has its source on the western slopes of Northumbria Hill and southwest of Oatlands . From there it first flows a few kilometers north and turns its course to the south west of Oatlands. It crosses under the Lake Highway (A5) at Apsley and the Midland Highway (A1) at Brighton . At Bridgewater it flows into the Derwent River .
