José Ángel Talavera (born August 2, 1950 in Zacatepec de Hidalgo , Morelos ) is a former Mexican soccer player who mainly played in midfield and won the Mexican soccer championship in 1978 with the UANL Tigres .
career
Talavera began his professional career at CF Torreón and changed clubs several times. His most successful season was 1977/78, in which he won the first championship title in the club's history with the UANL Tigres. The following season 1978/79 he spent on the newly recorded CD Coyotes Neza .
