José Élber Pimentel da Silva , called Élber , (born May 27, 1992 in Passo de Camaragibe , Alagoas ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

General

Elber currently plays for the Cruzeiro EC in the attacking midfielder position. Its most important features are the high speed when dribbling, excellent short passing game and good teammate approach. He also fulfills the functions of a second striker.

Cruzeiro won the 2010 unbeaten Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20, the Brazilian championship for young players. Élber was first noticed by the general public. At the end of the 2011 season, the player was promoted to the first team. Since then he has been a regular player and won the Brazilian championship with the team in 2013. After being loaned to other clubs in 2014 and 2015, Élber left Cruzeiro in late 2017 and signed a three-year contract with EC Bahia .
