José Antonio Cruz Álvarez Lima

José Antonio Cruz Álvarez Lima (born May 3, 1942 in Apizaco , Tlaxcala ) is a former Mexican ambassador and governor of the state of Tlaxcala.

Life

José Antonio Cruz Álvarez Lima graduated in Political Science and Public Administration. He studied at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México , where he was appointed Professor of Political Science and International Relations in 1965. He held other professorships at the Escuela de Ciencias Políticas of the Universidad Iberoamericana and at the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla .

From 1979 to 1980 he was a member of the Consejo Directivo del Colegio Nacional de Ciencias Políticas . For the state of Tlaxcala he sat in parliament from 1982 to 1985 and from 1991 to 1992 he sat in the Senate.
