José Antonio Luque Ramírez , Luque for short (born February 16, 1974 in Marchena , Andalusia ) is a former Spanish football player .

Player career

Luque comes from the youth of the Andalusian top club Sevilla FC . For the B team of FC he played from 1995 to 1999. There he missed the leap into the first team, which is why he moved to the amateur club Real Linense . There he was able to convince with a good season, so that he accepted the offer of the second division club Recreativo Huelva . Already in the second year he rose with his team, after only one year, however, again as third from bottom. It should take until the 2005/2006 season before the return to the Primera División could be achieved a second time.

Luque has not always been a regular goalkeeper in recent years, but he has at least played almost 100 league games with "Recre". Due to his reservist role, Luque moved to Écija Balompié from Segunda División B in early 2007 for the second half of the 2006/2007 season . After performing well, he developed the opportunity to continue his career in southern Spain. There he was not used in the 2007/08 season . He moved again to Écija Balompié in the summer of 2008. He was used ten times during the season and ended his career in 2009.
