José Antonio Reinoso (born September 8, 1973 in Mexico City , † January 24, 2014 in León , Guanajuato ) was a Mexican soccer player in the position of a striker and the son of the Chilean soccer player Carlos Reinoso , who in the 1970s with Mexico's top club America was under contract.
career
Reinoso was committed to the first division club Toros Neza before the 1994/95 season , for which he made his debut in the top Mexican division on April 1, 1995 in an away game at the eventual champions Club Necaxa , which was won 3-1. After the 1994/95 season Reinoso moved to the Necaxistas , with whom he won the championship of the 1995/96 season.
He then moved to Club León , which was coached by his father at the time.
Reinoso fell ill with cancer in 2006 and succumbed to his disease on January 24, 2014, when he died after a long period of suffering in his adopted city of León.
