José Guilherme de Toledo (born January 11, 1994 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian handball player .
Career
José Guilherme de Toledo started playing handball in Brazil at Handebol Itapema. In the summer of 2014, the backcourt player joined the Spanish first division club BM Granollers . In his first season with BM Granollers he scored 56 goals in the ASOBAL league and 16 goals in the EHF Cup . After Toledo threw a total of 47 goals in the first nine games of the season 2015/16, he moved to the Polish first division club Wisła Płock in November 2015 . In the 2015/16 season he took part in the EHF Champions League with Plock and scored 30 goals. In the 2019/20 season he was under contract with the North Macedonian club RK Vardar Skopje . He then switched to the Romanian first division club CS Minaur Baia Mare .
José Guilherme de Toledo initially ran for the Brazilian junior selection. At the U-19 World Handball Championship in 2013 , Toledo scored 64 goals, placing him in second place on the list of goalscorers. He is now a member of the Brazilian national team . With Brazil he took part in the 2015 World Cup. In 2016 he won the Pan American Championship with Brazil . He was part of the Brazilian squad at the 2016 Olympic Games .
