José Iborra Blanco (born June 12, 1908 in Barcelona , † September 17, 2002 in Mexico ) was a Spanish football player on the position of goalkeeper , according to a source in his home country Spain until 1936 more than 500 and later in his new home Mexico should have completed more than 200 missions.

career

Iborra played for various Spanish clubs and was signed by FC Barcelona for the 1935/36 season . The civil war that soon broke out brought the Spanish league to a standstill for several years and Iborra left - like many other Spanish footballers - the country and found a new home in Mexico. There he came to Mexico City- based "Spanish" club Real Club España during the amateur era and in 1944, immediately after the founding of Puebla FC, he received a contract from this club for the Mexican professional league that had been introduced a year earlier . In the 1944/45 season Iborra won the Mexican Cup competition with the Camoteros .
