José Luis Ceballos (born February 23, 1953 in Cordoba ) is a retired Argentine football player on the position of a striker .

career

Ceballos began his professional career at his hometown club Instituto AC Córdoba and after a year moved to city ​​rivals Belgrano , in whose ranks he spent the 1974 season.

After further positions at San Lorenzo and Atalanta , Ceballos moved abroad for the first time in 1976 and immediately won the Chilean cup competition with the Everton CD .

The seasons 1978/79 and 1979/80 he spent for the first time in the Mexican league and won the championship title in these two seasons with the CD Cruz Azul . He won his third league title in Mexico in the 1982/83 season with Puebla FC .
