José Luis Sixtos (born March 8, 1971 in Mexico City ), also known by the nickname El Flaco (Eng. The Slender ), is a retired Mexican football player on the position of a defender .
career
Sixtos was under contract with Club Deportivo Social y Cultural Cruz Azul for almost the entire 1990s , with whom he won the CONCACAF Champions' Cup twice in 1996 and 1997 as well as the championship title and the cup competition .
He then moved to Puebla FC , for which he made 32 appearances in the Primera División in 2000 and 2001 . Sixtos was also on loan for the first division club León and the second division Cruz Azul Oaxaca and Inter Riviera Maya .
illness
During his time at Puebla FC, he went through the hardest phase of his life when he developed testicular cancer and had to take a long break (including the entire year 2002).
