José Manuel Martins Dominguez (born February 16, 1974 in Lisbon ) is a former Portuguese football player and current coach .

Left-footed midfielder Dominguez began his career at Benfica Lisbon . During his engagement with Benfica he played on loan for the Portuguese clubs SU Sintrense and AD Fafe . In 1994 he moved to the English club Birmingham City . The next stop was Sporting Lisbon . For the 1997/1998 season he moved again to England, this time to Tottenham Hotspur , where he stayed until January 2001. Then he signed with Bundesliga club 1. FC Kaiserslautern . In 2004 he moved to Al-Ahli SC in Qatar on a free transfer . In the current season, he was transferred to Brazil to CR Vasco da Gama , where he played until August 2005.

On March 14, 2012 Dominguez was the new coach of the Portuguese first division club União Leiria . In 2014 Dominguez coached the Colombian club Real Cartagena .
