José María Cárdenas (born April 2, 1985 in Zacatecas , Zacatecas ) is a Mexican football player who mainly acts in midfield .

career

Cárdenas began his career as a professional player in 2005 at Club Atlante , with whom he won the Mexican football championship in 2007 in the Apertura .

In the 2008/09 season he was under contract with CF Pachuca and was called up for the first time in the Mexican national team, for which he came on in his debut game on March 11, 2009 against Bolivia in the 72nd minute and just twelve minutes later his first - to date, however, only one - scored international goal for the final score of 5: 1.
