Laura Ute Geiselsöder (born January 26, 1995 in Ansbach ) is a German basketball player who plays on the wing position, but has also been used as a power forward and center .

Life

Geiselsöder grew up in Burgoberbach and went to high school in Ansbach , which she completed with a high school diploma. She has two siblings. Her 1.92 older sister Luisa also plays basketball.

The 1.82 m tall athlete began playing basketball at TSV 1860 Ansbach. After moving to Schwabach , Bamberg and Herzogenaurach , she ended up with the first division club BG Donau-Ries in Nördlingen in 2014 .

National team

Geiselsöder was appointed to the U20 national team in 2015. At the U20 European Championship in Spain , she and her teammates were able to secure relegation in Group A with a 55:53 win over Hungary in the last game .
