Jose María Relucio Gallego , Relu for short , (born February 9, 1998 in Madrid ) is a Spanish football player . The midfielder was most recently under contract with Borussia Dortmund .

Career

Relu played for Rayo Vallecano before joining the Atlético Madrid youth team in 2012 . He played with the Atlético U-19 team in the 2016/17 UEFA Youth League .

For the 2017/18 season he moved to Deportivo Alavés , but was loaned out directly to the fourth division club CF Trival Valderas . For Trival Valderas he completed 30 games in the Tercera División that season , in which he scored two goals. After the end of the loan, he did not return to Alavés, but moved to the B-team of the second division AD Alcorcón .

In March 2019, he made his debut for the professionals of Alcorcón in the Segunda División when he came on as a substitute for Richard Boateng on matchday 31 of the 2018/19 season against FC Elche in the 76th minute . By the end of the season he came to four appearances for the professionals and 29 for the B-team in the Tercera División.

For the 2019/20 season Relu moved to Germany to Borussia Dortmund , where he played for the regional league team. The Spaniard only came to six short appearances, after the season his contract, which was still valid for one year, was terminated.
