José Maria Macerata OFMCap (born August 22, 1779 in Macerata , Papal States ; † 1845 ) was an Italian religious and prelate of Cuiabá .

Life

José Maria Macerata joined the religious order of the Capuchin in. In 1823 Pope Pius VII appointed him prelate of Cuiabá. Macerata was due to the collection of the July 15, 1826 territorial prelate Cuiabá to diocese first bishop of Cuiabá.
