José Olivares Larrondo

José Olivares Larrondo , also known as Tellagorri (born August 22, 1892 in Algorta ( Getxo ), † July 14, 1960 in Buenos Aires ) was a Basque writer and journalist . As a politician of the Acción Nacionalista Vasca he had to go into exile in Bayonne during the Spanish Civil War ; In 1940 he fled to Argentina , where he campaigned for the Basque cause as a journalist. Larrondo was also a striker for the Basque Arenas Club at a young age .
