José Luis Perotti Ron (z) zoni (born June 8, 1898 in Santiago de Chile , † June 22, 1956 ibid) was a Chilean painter and sculptor.

Perotti began his artistic training at the Colegio Experimental and from 1917 studied at the Academia de Bellas Artes with the sculptor Virginio Arias . At the Salón Oficial in 1919 he won the first prize for sculpture. With a grant from the Chilean government, he traveled to Europe in 1920, where he continued his education at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando with Miguel Blay , Joaquín Sorolla and Julio Romero de Torres until 1921 . Until 1923 he studied in Paris at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière and the Académie Colarossi and was a master student of Antoine Bourdelle .

After his return to Chile he was one of the founders of the avant-garde Grupo Montparnasse alongside Camilo Mori , Henriette Petit and the brothers Julio and Manuel Ortiz de Zárate . In 1927 he succeeded Simón González as head of the sculpture workshop at the Eschuela de Bellas Artes , and in 1929 he was appointed director of the Escuela de Artes Aplicadas at the Universidad de Chile . As a scholarship holder of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for Nature Research and Travel , he traveled to Germany in 1937 with Samuel Román and Israel Roa , where he perfected his skills in enamel technology and ceramics.

In 1947, Ronzini was one of the founders of the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo at the Universidad de Chile alongside Marco Bontá . He also promoted the establishment of the Museo de Arte Popular and the Museo Pedagógico and was one of the founders of the Asociación Chilena de Pintores y Escultores . In 1953 he was awarded the Premio Nacional de Arte . Ronzini's works are in the possession of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes as well as in various public squares and cemeteries in Chilean cities, in Lisbon and in New York's Central Park .
