José Renato da Silva Júnior , called Renato (born January 19, 1990 in Maceió , Alagoas ) is a Brazilian football player . The right foot is used as a right defender .

Career

Renato began his career with the lower class SC Corinthians Alagoano in his hometown of Maceió. Here the player made the leap into the professional squad in 2009. After a stopover at SE São Luiz , he came to Sport Recife at the beginning of 2010 , which played in Série B that season. Renato played his first league game on May 22, 2010 against ADRC Icasa . Here he was substituted on after half-time. He scored his first league goal in the following season 2011. He scored the goal in the game against CA Bragantino on October 15.

For the 2013 season, Renato was loaned to league rivals ABC Natal . After the season he initially returned to sport and won the Copa do Nordeste with it in spring 2014 . For league operations in 2014, the player then returned on loan to ABC Natal.

From the 2015 season Renato was part of the squad of the Série A Club Fluminense Rio de Janeiro . After the end of the season he went back to the Série B. He was loaned to Avaí FC . After Renato returned to FLU for the 2017 season, he made a few assignments that year. At the end of the season, his move to Ceará SC became known. At the start of the 2018 championship round in Série B, Renato returned to Avaí. With the club he was third in the table in the season. Renato contributed twelve goals to the rise of Avaí in 33 games. He was Avaís most successful goalscorer in the league and the fourth best in the league overall. After the season Renato moved to the future league competitor in the Série Chapecoense . Here he received a contract for two years.
