Josef Anselm Graf Adelmann von Adelmannsfelden (born October 4, 1924 in Cologne ; † September 20, 2003 in Stuttgart ), actually Josef Anselm Patritius Graf Adelmann von Adelmannsfelden Baron von Hake , was a Catholic theologian and writer.

Life

After studying Catholic theology, he was ordained a priest in 1955 . In 1957 he became a pastor in Tübingen-Bühl . At the same time he began working as a radio pastor for what was then the SWF . In 1960 he became the representative of the Catholic Church for the SWF. He later moved to the SDR in Stuttgart.

In 1973 he became broadcasting officer of the Rottenburg-Stuttgart diocese . He held this position until his retirement in 1994. Even after and after the merger of the two stations to form SWR , he was active in the radio programs of these stations. In particular, he spoke the Spiritual Word, which was broadcast in the morning, very regularly, often live from the broadcast studio. Overall, the clergyman , who appeared under the simple name of Josef Anselm Adelmann , was active in the radio for more than 40 years.

His personal interest was also art. Since 1978 he has been chairman of the diocese's art association. In addition, he published numerous art books.

Awards

For his services, Count Adelmann was awarded the papal honorary title Monsignor in 1983 . He was also the recipient of the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon.
