Josef Böckenhoff
Josef Böckenhoff-Grewing (born March 14, 1900 in Erle ; † 1968 in Raesfeld ) was a German certified farmer and agricultural scientist .
Live and act
Dr. agr. Böckenhoff-Grewing came to Sögel in 1925 as a young agricultural teacher , while German agriculture was taking the first modest steps towards mechanization and rationalization. His richly illustrated main work Agriculture and Farming on the Hümmling first appeared in 1929, was reissued in 1981 and is particularly important for historians due to the extensive documentation.
