Josef Blöchl

Josef Blöchl (born September 1, 1938 in Kreuzberg , today Freyung ; † June 1, 2006 there ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Blöchl attended elementary school from 1944 to 1952 and from 1952 to 1955 the vocational school and the agricultural school.

In 1964 Blöchl became a member of the CSU. He was initially the district chairman of the Junge Union. From 1978 to 1996 he was city councilor of Freyung, from 1978 district councilor and from 1974 to 1986 district councilor. In 1984 he became deputy district chairman of the CSU. On May 16, 1990, Blöchl moved to the Bavarian state parliament for the retired Alfons Urban . There he was a member until 2003, from 1990 directly elected to the Freyung-Grafenau constituency .

Blöchl was a holder of the Golden District and State Medal and the Bavarian Order of Merit .
