Josef Bueb
Josef Anton Bueb (born March 13, 1897 in Breisach am Rhein ; † October 26, 1974 there ) was a German local politician.
Career
Bueb came from a long-established Breisach family, whose ancestors can be traced back to around 1580. From 1948 to 1962 he was mayor of the city of Breisach. In this role he made great contributions to the reconstruction of the city, which was 85% destroyed by the war. He was one of the initiators of the Green Road, which unites people .
Maintenance of the Alemannic dialect
In addition, he appeared as the author of Alemannic poems and song texts and campaigned for the Alemannic Carnival .
