Josef Dinkhauser

Josef Dinkhauser (born April 1, 1890 in Innsbruck ; † March 5, 1951 there ) was an Austrian master bookbinder and politician ( ÖVP ). Dinkhauser was regional chairman of the economic union and from 1945 to 1949 member of the Austrian National Council .

Dinkhauser attended elementary school and then switched to community school. He learned the trade of bookbinder, attended the trade school and subsequently worked as a master bookbinder. Josef Dinkhauser was awarded the professional title of Commercial Councilor. Dinkhauser was involved in the Austrian Economic Association, which he chaired as regional chairman of Tyrol. In addition, Dinkhauser was vice-president of the Tyrol Chamber of Commerce and guild master of the Tyrolean bookbinder, cardboard and leather gallery association. Dinkhauser also acted as President of the Regional Association of the Red Cross in Tyrol. Dinkhauser was sworn in as a member of the National Council on December 19, 1945 and represented the Austrian People's Party in this body until November 8, 1949.
