Yoan Gouffran (born May 25, 1986 in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges , France ) is a French football player .

Career

society

In the years 2004 to 2008 Gouffran played for the professional team of SM Caen , after he was first used there in the U-19 team. Before the 2008/09 season he moved from Caen to Bordeaux for a transfer fee of around 6.5 million euros. On May 30, 2009, he scored the decisive goal against his ex-club SM Caen and thus secured the championship for his new employer. Caen was relegated because of this defeat.

At the end of January 2013, Gouffran moved to the English first division club Newcastle United , with whom he signed a contract until the end of June 2017.

For the 2017/18 season he moved to the Turkish first division club Göztepe Izmir .
