Josef Gruber (politician, 1925)
Josef Gruber (* 1925 ; † September 13, 2013 ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). From 1962 to 1988 Gruber was regional councilor in the Styrian regional government .
Josef Gruber was elected to the Styrian state government on March 13, 1962, to which he belonged until October 31, 1988. Gruber was responsible for social affairs. With 26 years of service, Gruber is the longest serving member of the government of Styria. After the end of his political career, Gruber was chairman of the supervisory board of the Graz non-profit housing cooperative and a member of the board of the organization for the disabled "Jugend am Werk".
Gruber died on September 13, 2013.
