Josef Hosp

Josef Hosp (born November 22, 1902 in Zirgesheim , † April 20, 1973 in Augsburg ) was a German trade unionist.

Hosp began in his parents' farm and then worked as a trained construction machinist in Donauwörth and Augsburg. In the Third Reich he was employed in building the armed forces, after the war he was involved in the reconstruction of Augsburg. From 1947 to 1967 he was managing director of the Augsburg administrative office of IG Bau-Steine-Erden .

From August 1, 1957 to December 31, 1971 he was a member of the Bavarian Senate .
