Josef Huchler

Josef Huchler (born January 2, 1936 in Baltringen , † January 9, 2007 in Biberach an der Riss ) was a politician of the Republican Party (REP). He was Catholic and had six children.

Professional background

From 1942 to 1950 Josef Huchler attended elementary school in Baltringen. This was followed by an apprenticeship as a bricklayer in 1951–1953, which he successfully completed with the journeyman's examination. The master craftsman examination followed in 1962. From 1962 to 1964 he was an employee in the construction department of the Thomae company in Biberach an der Riss . Since 1964 he was an independent contractor.

Political career

From 1972 to 1994 Huchler was a local councilor for the "Free Voters" in Warthausen . Since autumn 1994 he was a member of the Republicans and the Biberach district council. From April 16, 1996 to May 31, 2001 he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg (second mandate 66 constituency Biberach ).
