Josef Lettenbichler (born December 10, 1970 in Kufstein , Tyrol ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and former managing director of the Tyrolean Federation of Industry . From October 2008 to November 2017 he was a member of the Austrian National Council , from January 31, 2018 to October 22, 2019 he was again a member of the National Council for the Tyrolean lowlands. He was the energy spokesman for the ÖVP parliamentary group .

Life

After attending elementary school Kirchbichl and Bundesrealgymnasium Wörgl Josef Lettenbichler graduated from the Business Academy in Wörgl . After completing his military service , he studied political science at the Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck.

From 1997 to 2002 Josef Lettenbichler was VP district manager in charge of the Kitzbühel and Kufstein districts. In 2003 he took over the office of General Manager of the Tyrolean People's Party, which he held until 2006. From 1998 to 2002 he was the parish council in his home parish Kirchbichl . From 2007 to 2017 Lettenbichler was the managing director of the Tyrolean Federation of Industry.
