Josef Lipavský
Josef Lipavský (born February 22, 1772 in Hohenmaut ; † January 7, 1810 in Vienna ) was a Bohemian composer.
Lipavský learned to play the piano and organ in Königgrätz and was a student of Jan Křtitel Vaňhal and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in Vienna . He lived in Vienna as a piano virtuoso and conductor. He composed several Singspiele ( Die Nymphen der Silberquelle , Bernardon , Der better Hausteufel ), chamber music works, piano sonatas and variations, organ pieces and songs.
