Josef Martin Hurka
Josef Martin Hurka ( Josef Martin Hůrka , born November 11, 1756 in Chudenice , † after 1800 in Portugal ) was a Bohemian composer and cellist .
Life
The brother of Friedrich Franz Hurka was a student of Jan Antonín Koželuh . He worked as a singer and cellist and joined the Franciscan order in Spain in 1786 . Later he lived in a Portuguese monastery. The cello concertos and sonatas he wrote have not yet been found.
