Josef Michl (actor)

Josef Michl (born March 9, 1893 in Eger ; † May 12, 1951 in Erlangen ) was a German actor and stage manager .

Michl began in 1919, after returning from the First World War, as a batch player in Eger. Only interrupted by brief engagements in Franzensbad , Marienbad and Karlsbad , as well as in Brüx , Saaz and Trautenau , he played most of his life in his hometown. He also took part in World War II and then moved to Erlangen, where he played theater until his death. Michl died there in 1951 after a long illness after kidney operation.
