Josef Minten

Josef Minten (born January 5, 1862 in Sürth , Rhine Province , † April 18, 1940 ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

After graduating from high school in Cologne, Minten began to study law at the Eberhard Karls University . In 1882 he became a corps bow bearer of Borussia Tübingen . He moved to the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . In 1890 he passed the assessor exam. In 1893 he became an alderman for the city of Cologne. On December 10, 1902, he came to the Cologne district as district administrator . At his own request, he was dismissed from civil service on January 31, 1920 (before the Kapp Putsch). He was first lieutenant in the reserve. He was married to Carina born in 1895. Leven.
