Josef Nairz (born November 5, 1936 ) is a former Austrian bobsleigh driver . Together with Erwin Thaler , Reinhold Durnthaler and Adolf Koxeder he took part in the 1964 Olympic Games in Innsbruck . The team achieved the silver medal in the four-man bobsleigh . Together with Thaler he also took part in the two-man bobsleigh competition, where they only came in 8th place.
At the 1963 Bobsleigh World Cup in Igls , Austria , he won the bronze medal in the four-man bobsleigh with the same team.
