Josef Rübsam (politician)

Josef Rübsam (born January 14, 1822 in Soisdorf , Hünfeld district , † September 5, 1886 in Hanau ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.

Life

Josef Rübsam studied law at the Philipps University of Marburg from 1841 to 1845 . In 1844 he became a member of the short-lived Buchonia Marburg Corps . After completing his studies, he pursued a career as a judge. In 1866 he became a district judge in Fulda and in 1879 a district judge in Hanau .

From 1863 to 1866 Rübsam was a member of the state parliament of Kurhessen. From 1870 to 1886 he was a member of the constituency of Kassel 11 (Hünfeld, Gersfeld) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the center.
