Josef Reinert (born February 22, 1945 in Mehring ) is a German locksmith and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Reinert trained as a locksmith and worked as a locksmith. Later he was a driver at the Trier State Building Authority.

politics

Reinert is a member of the CDU and was a member of the CDU district executive. In the Christian Democratic workforce , he was chairman of the Trier district board from 1977 to 1997 and deputy chairman of the state. From 1974 to 1997 he was a member of the Trier-Saarburg district council, from 1974 to 2012 a member of the Wasserliesch local council and from 1983 to 2004 mayor of Wasserliesch .

In 1987 he ran for the eleventh state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate on April 16, 1990, he replaced Michael Kutscheid in the state parliament, to which he belonged until the end of the 1991 electoral term. In the state parliament he was a secretary and member of the Committee for Social Affairs and Health (from November 16, 1987 Committee for Social Affairs and Family) and the Petitions Committee.

From 1989 he was a member of the administrative board of the Kreissparkasse Trier-Saarburg . For many years he was a lay judge at the Trier court and volunteer at the Rhineland-Palatinate State Insurance Institute in Speyer and for the Trier Valley business development agency.
