Josef Seidl (politician)

Josef Seidl (born June 11, 1913 in Vienna ; † September 22, 1998 ibid) was an Austrian politician of the Socialist Party of Austria (SPÖ).

education and profession

After attending elementary school and secondary school, attended a medium-sized technical college for electrical and mechanical engineering. He worked as a technical employee and from 1945 as a police officer (police group inspector).

Political functions

  • 1934: Member of the Socialist Workers' Youth
  • from 1945: member and functionary of the SPÖ and the union of public employees

He was also vice chairman of the Union of Public Employees.
