Josef Vogel (politician)

Josef Vogel (born September 1, 1893 in Harmerz ; † January 22, 1982 ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and member of the Hessian state parliament .

Life

After attending elementary and vocational school, Josef Vogel worked as an independent farmer in Harmerz.

He was a member of the CDU in his hometown and was district chairman of his party. He served as honorary mayor of the Harmerz community from 1948 to 1964. 1950 to 1952 he was a member of the district council of the district of Fulda . From 1952 to 1964 he was the first member of the district of Fulda.

Between December 1, 1954 and November 30, 1962 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament. In 1959 he took part in the 3rd Federal Assembly as a member .

Josef Vogel was a co-founder in 1947, chairman from 1949 to 1970 and from 1970 honorary chairman of the district farmers' association Fulda eV as well as a member of the general assembly of the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry Kurhessen.

Josef Vogel married his wife Paula nee on May 14, 1923. Coronation. From the marriage there were four daughters and one son. First daughter Klara was born on March 15, 1924, followed by twins Hildegard and Aloysia on June 19, 1925. The only son Alfons was born on October 17, 1929 and Hedwig was born on September 19, 1933.
