Josefin Brink

Sara Josefin Brink (born November 11, 1969) is a Swedish socialist politician (member of the Vänsterpartiet ) and has been a member of the Reichstag since the 2006 election . In 2008 she was elected to the board of the Vänsterpartiet .

Life

Brink was elected to the Reichstag for the first time in 2006 for the constituency of Stockholm County . In 2010 she was re-elected, this time for the Stockholm-City constituency. In the Reichstag she has been a member of the labor market committee since 2006.

Josefin Brink was formerly editor-in-chief of the feminist magazine Bang and worked for the Equal Opportunities Agency (Jämställdhetsombudsmannen) . She is a columnist for the socialist newspaper Flamman .

Josefin Brink also played the saxophone in the ska punk band Vagina Grande ; other band members were u. a. the actress Lo Kauppi and the theater director Mia Engberg .

In June 2008, Brink said in an interview with the tabloid Expressen that she worked for a time in a striptease club in Gothenburg in the mid-1990s , but eventually felt such an aversion to this activity that she quit after four months.
