Joseph Incardona (born February 1969 in Lausanne ) is a Swiss writer , screenwriter and director .

biography

Incardona's father comes from Sicily and his mother from western Switzerland . He is inspired by Swiss and Italian culture as well as black novels and American literature of the 20th century.

He treats the topics with his own black and rhythmic style, but one can also find a shifted tone in his works, often associated with a form of shame.

Joseph Incardona is the author of a dozen books (crime novels), screenplays (for theater, cinema and comics) and a film director. He is also a lecturer at the Swiss Literature Institute in Biel and lives in Geneva.
